Environment Interactive Sites

  • Chemicals around the House – This interactive site from the EPA teaches students about chemicals found around the house.

  • Energy Quest – Interactive site that teaches how to conserve energy from the California Energy Commission.

  • Tox Town – Provided by the National Library of Medicine, this interactive site helps students identify toxic chemicals and hazardous substances.

  • Environmental Education for Kids – This is an electronic magazine about environmental education for grades 4-8 provided by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

  • EcoKids – A collection of games relating to the environment provided by Earth Day Canada.

  • The Lorax Saves the Tree Game – From Dr. Seuss Enterprises, this interactive game teaches student’s about saving trees and other living things
  • Air Now – Interactive site for grades K-4 that shows them how to measure pollution in the air provided by the EPA.

  • Save Our Beach Game – Interactive game that shows kids ways to save the beach provided by the EPA.

  • N. Trubble and the Environauts – EPA interactive game for kids about the environment.

  • Clean Sweep USA – Students learn about environmental issues through these interactive comic books provided by Keep America Beautiful.

  • Recycle City – Interactive site from the EPA that will help students explore how the city's residents recycle, reduce, and reuse waste.

  • Water Cycle – Students will learn about the water cycle with these interactive activities from the EPA.
  • Smog City – Smog City is an interactive air pollution simulator that shows how your choices, environmental factors, and land use contribute to air pollution.
