The Office Child Nutrition is the administrator of eight programs under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Services (FNS). These eight programs include:

• The Division of School Support (National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs)
  • After School Care Snack Program
  • Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program
• The Division of Child and Adult Care Food Program (includes Family Day Care Homes)
• The Division of Training
• The Division of Purchasing and Food Distribution Program
• The Division of Claims and Finance
• The Division of Nutrition Standards
• The Division of Nutrition Education
• Summer Food Service Program for Children
• Special Milk Program (not available to schools with School Lunch Program and/or Breakfast Program)

The Office of Child Nutrition also administers a State-wide Purchasing Cooperative for school districts to purchase foods and supplies used in the School Lunch and Breakfast programs.
